Korean ginseng is a plant from which the root is used. The roots need more years of growth to concentrate a greater amount of active principle. Korean ginseng helps support energy, vitality, and mental well-being. Once the optimum maturity for harvesting has been reached (which can take several years), the ginseng root is uprooted to subsequently remove the remains of soil.
