Marine Collagen and the richness of Amino Acids
The collagen used comes from fish. A recent study (J Agric Food Chem 55(4) 1532-1535 (2007)) has shown that marine collagen is more easily assimilated than other collagen sources, such as porcine collagen. Collmar® has a high percentage of glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline (major amino acids in collagen) and essential amino acids.
Enzymatically Hydrolyzed
Collmar® Marine Collagen has undergone a unique enzymatic hydrolysis process, which consists of fragmenting the Collagen into smaller molecules, called peptides, so that they are more easily assimilated by the body.
Enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C
Collmar® is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid, which comes from bacterial fermentation of Streptococcus zooepidemicus, and Vitamin C. The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) recommends the consumption of Vitamin C, as it contributes to the formation of Collagen.
Free of land animals
The ingredients used (Marine Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid) do not come from land animals.

How to use
