Marine Collagen and the richness of Amino Acids

The collagen used in Collmar comes from fish. A recent study ( J Agric Food Chem 55(4) 1532-1535 (2007) ) has shown that marine collagen is more easily assimilated than other collagen sources such as porcine collagen. Collmar has a high percentage of glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline, which are the major amino acids in collagen and essential amino acids.

Enzymatically Hydrolyzed

The collagen used has undergone a unique process that breaks it down into smaller molecules, called peptides, making it more easily absorbed by the body. This process is carried out through enzymatic hydrolysis. In this way, we break down the collagen, facilitating its absorption.

Standardized Extracts

Another key advantage of our formulation is the use of standardized extracts. This means that the plants used always provide a known and consistent amount of organic silicon. In our case, the silicon is obtained from dry bamboo extract, which contains 75% silicon, meaning that 40 mg of the extract provides 30 mg of silicon.
