Used in the form of a dry extract

In our Devil's Claw capsules, we use dry extracts instead of powdered plant material. The extract form allows us to concentrate the product, achieving the same result with less quantity. We have chosen a 5:1 Devil's Claw extract, meaning that 3000 mg of plant material were used to obtain 600 mg of our extract. The term "dry extract" refers to a specific extraction process that preserves the active ingredients of interest while removing impurities and other unwanted substances. Using plant extracts offers several advantages over using powdered plant material:

1. The content of active ingredients can be precisely determined (Standardized Extracts)
2. Products made from plant extracts are more concentrated than those made from whole plant powder (Concentrated and easy-to-take dose)
3. The assimilation of individual active ingredients is easier than the assimilation of all the compounds in a plant. Impurities and fibers are present in the total powder.

Standardized extracts

Another key advantage of our formulation is the use of standardized extracts. This means that the plant provides consistent levels of active ingredients (also known as the plant's potency) over time. In the case of Devil's Claw extract, it is standardized to harpagosides, ensuring that 30 mg are always provided per daily dose.

Concentrated and easy-to-take dose

The use of concentrated and standardized dry extracts allows us to obtain the same dose in a single dose.

Vegetable capsules

The capsules used are of plant origin, specifically made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. These capsules are certified by the Vegetarian Society. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is obtained from the cellulose of various plant structures.

Allergen-free

Harpagophytum capsules are made to ensure that there is no contamination with any of the most common allergens, including gluten.

Packaged in blisters

Harpagophytum capsules are presented in a package called blisters: The blisters protect the product from impacts and environmental effects, ensuring its composition over time. The use of these materials, compared to other presentations, protects it from moisture and microbial contamination.
