Marine Collagen and the richness of Amino Acids
The Collagen used comes from fish. A recent study (J Agric Food Chem 55(4) 1532-1535 (2007)) has shown that Marine Collagen is assimilated more easily than other sources of Collagen, such as porcine. Collmar® has a high percentage of Glycine, Proline and Hydroxyproline (major amino acids of collagen) and essential amino acids.
Enzymatically Hydrolysed
Collmar® Marine Collagen has been subjected to a unique enzymatic hydrolysis process, which consists of fragmenting the Collagen into smaller molecules, called peptides, so that they are more easily assimilated by the body.
Free of terrestrial animals
All ingredients used (Marine Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid) do not come from land animals.
