Nutrabasics - Korean Ginseng
Korean Ginseng is a plant. Typically, the Ginseng root has the most medicinal properties and is best left to maturity for many years. Waiting a few years before harvesting yields roots highly concentrated in bioactive compounds. After harvesting, the Ginseng root is cleaned and subsequently heated to eliminate teguments and to proceed to the extraction of bioactive compounds. Korean Ginseng boosts the bodys energy and maintains vitality, alertness and mental wellness.

Nutrabasics. Whole elemental nutrition. The main base in the development of the line of Nutrabasic Plants of Drasanvi is the use of vegetable extracts of the best quality, and extraction processes that ensure the intensity and most efficient dosage, with maximum respect for all its natural properties. 1 or 2 daily dose is enough. We bet on standardized plant extracts, meaning extracts in which we ensure an adequate, uniform and constant amount of active ingredients. With this process we get highly efficient concentrations without the need of taking a large number of capsules. Our labeling enable you to know the dose taken, the amount of active ingredient and powered plant equivalency consumed per daily dose. The extraction methods are always respectful of the environment, a philosophy that we keep up in our FSC packaging (made from cardboard from timber obtained from sustainably managed forests). Korean Ginseng (Panax Ginseng) Korean Ginseng is a plant, from which the root is harvested. Typically, the Ginseng root has the most medicinal properties and is best left to maturity for many years. Waiting a few years before harvesting yields roots highly concentrated in bioactive ingredients. Ginseng root, once it is ripened optimally to be harvested (it may take several years) is riped and cleaned from dirt. After this process it is heated to remove the integuments and proceed to the extraction of the active principles. The capsules of Drasanvi include in their composition 600 mg of dry extract 3:1 which means an equivalency of 1,800 mg of pulverized plant. Rigurous analytical methods have enabled to standardised our capsules in gingenosides. We have been able to isolate 9 different types of gingenosides whose total amount is 16 mg.
Our Korean Ginseng capsules contain dry extracts instead of powdered plant material. Dry extracts are more concentrated and therefore, the same results can be achieved by using less product. We have selected a Korean Ginseng Extract with a 3:1 ratio. This means that we have used 1.800 mg of plant to produce 600 mg of extract. Dry extract refers to a specific extraction process that retains the bioactive compounds from plant materials and eliminates impurities and other unnecessary substances. The use of plant extracts has several advantages over the use of powdered forms:
- The bioactive compounds content can be accurately measured (Standardized Extracts).
- Products based on plant extracts are more concentrated that those made from powdered plant material (Concentrated and easy to take doses).
- The assimilation of bioactive compounds is easier if they are alone (extract form) rather than in combination with the rest of plant material that retains impurities and fiber (powdered form).
Another important advantage of our product formulation is the use of standardized extracts. Standardized extracts contain isolated, guaranteed amounts of bioactive ingredients that remain constant over time. In this particular case, our Korean Ginseng Extract is titrated in Ginsenosides, ensuring a constant daily dose of 24 mg.
Concentrated and easy to take doses
The use of concentrated and titrated dry extracts allows us to provide the same dose in just two (2) capsules.
Our capsules are vegetable-based. They are manufactured from Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, which is a product derived from plant cellulose. These capsules have been certified by the Vegetarian Society.
We make every effort to ensure that our Korean Ginseng capsules are free of the most common allergens, in particular gluten.
