Nutrabasics - Borage Oil

Borage Oil is derived from the seeds of the borage plant, Borago officinalis L. It is very rich in Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), which is categorized as an Omega-6 essential fatty acid because the human body cannot synthesize it de novo. This is a food supplement: food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balance diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place

Take two (2) softgels daily, preferably with meals.

Cold-pressed oils

Our Borage Oil is extracted using cold pressing procedures and it requires less refining than hot pressed oils. As a result, its content in GLA is higher.

Standardized oils

Another important advantage of our product formulation is the use of standardized extracts. Standardized extracts contain isolated, guaranteed amounts of active ingredients that remain constant over time. In this particular case, our Borage Oil is titrated in Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), ensuring a constant daily dose of 200 mg.

Concentrated and easy to take doses

The use of concentrated and titrated oils allows us to provide the same dose in just two (2) softgels.

We make every effort to ensure that our Borage Oil softgels are free of the most common allergens, in particular gluten.

Blister packs

Our Borage Oil softgels come in blister packs. Blister packs protect products against adverse external influences that may affect its quality or potency (such as mechanical damage and environmental factors like moisture or biological contamination), ensuring their composition for extended periods of time.
