Marine collagen is rich in amino acids
The collagen we use comes from fish. A recent study (J Agric Food Chem 55(4) 1532-1535 (2007)) has proved that marine collagen is more easily assimilated by the body than other forms, such as collagen that comes from pigs parts. Collmar® contains a high proportion of glycin, prolin and hydroxyprolin (the most important amino acids in collagen) and other essential amino acids.
The collagen we use has go through a unique process in which it is broken down into tiny fragments, so that they can be easily absorbed by the body. This process has been made through enzymatic hydrolisis. In that case, we managed to break the collagen so it can be easily absorbed.
Enriched with hyaluronic acid
Collmar® contains hyaluronic acid, which is created during the bacterial fermentation of streptococcus zooepidemicus.
Contains vitamin C
The EFSA (European Food and Safety Authority) recommends the consumption of vitamin C, as it helps create collagen and in turn makes cartilage, bones and skin.
Free from terrestrial animals
All the ingredients we use (marine collagen and hyaluronic acid) don't come from terrestrial animals.
