Marine Collagen and the Richness of Amino Acids

We use Collagen from fish. A recent study (J Agric Food Chem 55(4) 1532-1535 (2007)) has shown that Marine Collagen is more easily assimilated by the body than Collagen from other sources, like pig Collagen.

Collmar® is rich in Glycine, Proline and Hydroxyproline, the most abundant amino acids in collagen, and essential amino acids.

In this way the intake is easier for people who have difficulty swallowing tablets.

Enzymatically Hydrolysed

Collmar® Marine Collagen has been subjected to a unique process of enzymatic hydrolysis, in which it is broken down into smaller molecules, called Peptides, so that they can be more easily assimilated by the organism.

Enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C

Collmar® is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid, which comes from bacterial fermentation of Streptococcus zooepidemicus, and Vitamin C.

The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) recommends the consumption of Vitamin C, since it contributes to the formation of collagen.

With Magnesium

The daily dose of 6 tablets, contributes 61% of Magnesium. Magnesium is an essential mineral that, among other functions, contributes to the maintenance of bones and muscles under normal conditions, as well as normal protein synthesis.

No presence of terrestrial animals

All the ingredients used (Marine Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid) do not come from terrestrial animals.
